Black Sun 03:37
Black sun, hanging around your neck It weighs, it weighs, it weighs you down Black sun, weighing down your words It burns, it burns, it burns your tongue I know you don't want to go I'll go, I'll go, I'll go into The black sun, there I'll wait for you Too late, it's swimming in your wake It pulls, it pulls, it pulls you down Too late, it's pulling down your weight It drowns, it drowns, it drowns you out I know you're counting down your wasted days So quick to fade into the black sun They won't wait for you Black sun, it hung around your neck It weighed, it weighed, it weighed you down Black sun, weighing down your words It burned, it burned, it burned your tongue I know you didn't want to go You'll go, you'll go, you'll go into The black sun will find a place for you

Harris 02:20
You're laying face down in the dirt You promised me it didn't hurt Was it for pain or pleasure? What is my regret even worth? Tried not to let my weakness show Hoping I didn't move too slow Now you're laying face down in the dirt Sometimes tough love doesn't work

about

"Wrung Out would often build to a cathartic, grungy climax, but these two songs see Lume exploring their more atmospheric side. “Black Sun” is sludgy post-rock with hushed vocals in the lower register, while “Harris” is driven by minimal piano, sort of in a Radiohead circa Kid A/Amnesiac kind of way. They both show a very different side of Lume, and it makes for a nice complement to the songs on Wrung Out." - Brooklyn Vegan
