jacob_essak I've listened to this record about a thousand times since it came out. It is a masterpiece. Intense but super chilled out. Full of space and heavy with emotion and intent. Just a brilliant album. Well done.

Darknight False Calm sucks you in then hits you with walls of sonic destruction. This album is a real piece of an artistic journey through post rock greatness,a stunning record for sitting and enjoying in silence. Favorite track: Common Death.

Joe Yoksh One big weighted blanket of perfect slowcore. This is a cohesive, meditative journey, perfect to lie down and contemplate existence to. I didn't expect to like this as much as I do; it's one of my favorite recent releases, and at least as of late-June, my album of the year. Buy this album. Favorite track: Common Death.

1.
Higher 06:30
Lost cause Mirrored halls False calm Healing all We go higher And higher And higher And higher
2.
Common Death 07:33
Sometimes I get lost along the way It's in my fate either way A common death awaits us every day Right on time to fade away Close enough to feel the weight Tangled up, held in place Give it up, release your hate I've seen enough either way Hold me to cardinal rule I'm not only Only you, cardinal rule I'm only
3.
Somatic 06:45
Come what might, you'll be the liar Cut and dried, thrown in the fire These are the days I welcome with open arms Gone in a haze before we can even start Call me your name. It's mine. All of your deepest pain is in your mind Sick of wandering, I grow old Caught in a wasteland, out in the cold Oh, I'm afraid I go overboard One of these days I won't help myself Call me your name. It's mine. All of your deepest pain is in your mind Do what you want, It's fine. All of the same mistakes are yours to find
4.
Holy Water 06:12
Douse yourself in holy water Love you like an only daughter Only freedom rings every week Feel the simple things tightening How could anybody sleep? Drink it down, holy water Bury your only daughter Lack of freedom leads to suffering Feel the rope tightening How could anybody sleep?
5.
Ill At Ease 03:49
Come and take what you want Ceremonial thought Climb back in the car, not a word between Couldn't cut away Just leave it up to fate Feel the weight of your body sink into another day Innocent Feeling everything Hollowness overtaking Why am I in love with this idea of nothing? Another aimless outing in emptiness Could've made amends Can't remember when Such an easy way to be indifferent Ill at ease Counting every word between Hollowness overtaking
6.
False Calm 06:30
All my efforts aren't enough Common sense just comes undone Pour my hope into your holy eyes Always wasting all my time All this to see you lose Walking in your father's shoes Always on your own Burning, burning down your home Hopelessly I'll wait for you, I won't forget your face Endless conversation leads to overwhelming pain Ignorance is bliss until it's calling out your name Hopelessly I'll wait for you, I won't forget your face False calm
